Cel-Fi with Intelliboost technology is a cost-effective, intelligent 3G (WCDMA) signal booster that dramatically increases indoor voice quality and data throughput (up to 4x) for 3G consumers while significantly improving network capacity (up to 7x) for Mobile Carriers. The residential Cel-Fi system consists of two devices: the Window Unit (WU) and the Coverage Unit (CU). The Window Unit (WU) is placed in the area with the strongest received signal from the carrier network (signal levels as low as -110 dBm are acceptable). The WU is comprised of a transmitter and receiver which communicate with the cell tower. The Coverage Unit (CU) is placed in the center of the home, communicates wirelessly with the WU and "lights up" the interior of the house with significantly enhanced signal levels, thus enabling better quality calls and greater data throughput.
